Hi Ed:

Here's the rub -- everyone's requirement is different and sometimes, one table is not enough. I have one base and I'm starting to interchange tops.

My best suggestion is to search "router tables" in the search box at the top of the page and start reading and asking questions. Once you've determined what you want to do, or at least start doing, then you can build table(s) to meet those requirements.

You must also be aware that a table can lock you in to a philosophy where everything you require must support that philosophy. This can get very expensive over time.

Do your research before jumping in the deep end.
