Hi,
Thanks all.
Xplorx4, Here's 2 YouTubes, first is about 15 seconds other is 2 minutes.
I build all my track and trains from scratch using wood and steel. I also do resin and metal casting. I'm doing 7/8 scale using O gauge (32mm), which represents 18" gauge in the real world so I'm in a distinct minority of modelers. Most of these are short industrial lines found scattered around the world. I base my stuff on real plans. It's got a long ways to go. A steel plant with real BBQ furnace I can cook burgers on is likely my next projects, but I need to people the garden first, using my router.

I use a combination of onboard battery only (DPDT switch operated); and some remote control I fabricated from motorboat ESC and land vehicle Xmitter/receiver. I also have a solar-powered cable car that hauls freight, which I tested and may set up soon.
I see a ton of applications for my router from building figures, to freight and passenger cars to structures.
I have built live steam but need to tune the cylinders
