You could mod. the unit with a base board under the router so you could use one hand to run it.
The tool will move the router to the left or the right with one crank on the end.
But you could also do the same with a router table and a power feed unit to push the stock by the router bit.
Power feed units are not cheap but the Stockroom.com has a new one that you may want to take a look at.
