Hi Mike,
The price, 2 HP, 115V, 14 amp and the 1600 CFM are good. The only thing I might question about it is it only filters to 30 microns. The really dangerous stuff is from 5 to 10 microns. Or so I read somewhere. The only problem is when you get into the 5 micron or lower range it can get rather costly. That being said, at 1600 CFM, it probably would do good at sucking up plenty of chips.
