Hi George

At one time I had a SS with the band saw setup and they work great once you replace the Spring that keeps the blade tension right, the Fac. one is a bit weak but you can find one one by using the web site for ShopSmith Tools Forum plus many tips for the SS ...like How-To-Resaw on the SS band saw.
