Well boys, it looks like I am getting smarter all the time. I TOLD my brother it was the blade and AND cutting with the grain! Ha!! Thanks. And you can bet I am going immediately to the Net to search out some of the blades you mention. I was using a Milwaukee blade in the big Milwaukee saw (don't recall the model but it was about $170) It IS orbital and I DID check to see it was set as low as possible. It is a GREAT saw.
