BJ... the worst that will happen with my way of doing it is it kicks it back at me and hits me between the eyes
. Actually the thought of one of those slot cutters raises the hair on my neck doing that job. Any of those big bits whirring on that router table makes me think twice
Either one though will remove a digit if you are not watching and controlling the situation but I have more between me and the blade I think on the saw.
