It is a good thing there is not a law agisinst stealing... er borrowing ideas from friends around here or I would be in jail.
Ever since getting my Oak-Park router center, I have been wanting to make a few modifications to fit my personal tastes and needs. Well, along comes Corey building his own fancy smancy set up with drawers and the whole works and just sent me into a tiz of inspiration. So, being down with some temporary sight issues, I needed an easy and safe project to work on while waiting on my meds to do their thing and just plain out stole his ideas and worked them into a complete rehab of my own.
I added some drawers with cedar facing and nice pulls. Removed the lettering on the front of the table so I would not look like a groupie or something

Sanded and finished the whole potato with 2 coats of tung oil finish and 1 coat of wipe on poly. Drawer boxes were made of MDF and failed an attempt of pocket hole construction so they are gluded and fastened with 1 inch brads which should do the trick. I never made drawers or faces before and you would not be seeing them from me now if it weren't for all the help from Corey.
Here is the results and still a little more work to do yet, including drilling out the router bit holder in the top drawer insert. Lot's of yellow abound and I think Oak-Park needs to sell yellow smocks to complete the color coordination
Maybe you can steal... err borrow some ideas from these pictures since we are such a lawless forum of characters
