OK, some further explanation is in order. Yes, pure breed pit bulls are a problem many places. Bull is far removed from being a pure breed pit bull. His father is a Yorkie and Jack Russel Terrier mix and tips the scale at 10 lbs. His mom is a lab / pit bull mix, is close to 60 lbs and has the sweetest disposition you can find. We never did find the ladder his dad used for that stunt. Of the 10 pups that survived he was the only one to look like a pit bull. His brother "Sir Harry of Rockingham" looks like a doberman with short legs and neck, all the rest were colored like miniature rottweilers, 2 of them chocolate colored. Both Bull and "Harry" have the lab webbed feet. Mixed breeding provides the best pets in my opinion. Also keep in mind that when fully grown Bull will weigh half what the average cat does. At 10 lbs he will be a threat to mice and squirrels but not much else. The most important part is we raise our dogs gently. When my wife says: Time to go night-night or I say go to your room they trot down the hall to their crates. Lots of affection and patience produces wonderful dogs and I have never been concerned in the slightest about any of them taking a nip out of anybody.
