I think the easiest way would be to run it over a table mounted router with a stationary fence. Set the fence at whatever distance you require. I would use a feather board, and a push block. You could also build a template that would hold to stock material and run a hand held router over the top. You would need some type of guide to keep the slot straight. Hope that helps. |
