CManinLa is on a distinguished road

Corey, you're right about using tools I don't have. I've been doing alot of reading on the internet....and I see some of the really nice projects require using jointers or planers. Not to mention band saws, drill presses, etc. Something I never considered. But I can see that if I take to this....I should have a jointer & planer in the next few months. I've already re-arranged my garage & as you can see the tools I've already bought are the kind that can be easily moved & stored.

It's funny....my wife started this with the laminate floor project. I have a 20 year old Craftsman circular saw (same blade, never sharpened or changed) & the cheapest Ryobi miter saw made. When she said she thought I could lay the laminate floor, I began looking at tools. I don't get the most expensive....but I try to get something that will last. She says I'm not obsessed...or is it possessed. I am getting things fixed around the house I have been ignoring for months.
