challagan is on a distinguished road

Cman I have some nice power tools.. even some expensive ones and some not so expensive. They don't need to be top of the line to do the job. I still am using my cheapo Ryobi miter saw. Hey it works and has cut a hell of a lot of molding trim and crown molding in my house. Some folks will tell you to buy once... and get the most expensive tool you can afford. If we all did that we probably couldn't afford to buy wood or would be in debt up to our eyeballs for a hobby! If you do your homework, you can find good power tools for a decent price. Just be glad we live in the land of plenty and lots of choices cause it's not the case everywhere. I have a very small shop and have been woodworking for 20 plus years and still do not have a jointer or planer. Maybe some day... I think a band saw will be next!
