Hi,

I'm a weekend woodworker who has been fascinated with with wood since 8th grade shop (35 years ago when woodshop was a 20 week class). I always have more projects that I'd like to build than the time or skills required. Its great to have an on-line resource like this; I found the forum after a Google search for pattern routing. My current project is a mission style six board hall storage bench, from 4/4 curly cherry. I'm cutting profiles on the stretchers and legs to match the Green and Green mirror that the will be directly over the bench and in my first attempt I completely botched the legs! One day I'll actually learn that every time I try something new I should try it on scrap or inexpensive Home Depot lumber before risking my curly cherry! Like I said, more projects and ambitions than skill or time. I know what I want - I can see it in my mind - I just have to get the tools to do their thing!
