Hi Bruce

I did see your 1st post and because I don't have a Triton I didn't come back on your post BUT the norm is when you use the router in the router table you would remove all the parts, like the plastic deflectors,etc. and you would button the router up to the base plate and that's all..without the plastic base plate that comes with most routers.

Now for the other error you are running into,,, you maybe using the 1 3/16 hole size base and it would be best to use the base plate with the 1 1/2" hole in it,,,you can get the brass guides that will fit that hole size from Oak-Park or Lee Valley for just two of them..

But you can always just pop the router out and put it on it's side on top of the router table and then change the bits, just like Bob and Rick do on the RWS...

But DON't start playing with collet nuts, the threads maybe the same but they are all Not made the same way , you don't want the bit to come out and chase you down.
