Thanks Scrollwolf! Not surprised at the price. I think I will just keep with the 39.99 2 battery packs, can't beat that price and throw them away when they won't hold a charge no more. Been going strong on the first set now for 2 years.

These 18V are overkill for general woodworking in my opinion. Great for remodel and home improvement stuff but A 12V is plenty for running in screws and predrilling holes and driving small woodscrews for woodworking projects. I would rather save the money for a small lithium driver like that little bosch.
