I think I'm more loyal to the best tool I can get for the price I'm willing to pay, than I am to any particular brand. I have been impressed by some no-name tools, I have been unimpressed by some 'premium name' tools.
Ditto ---

I was raised on Craftsman, Stanley and Black & Decker.
I stayed with these "low end" brands because I had seen them used to build cars and houses and figured they would certainly do anything I ever needed. And so far they have. (Your mileage may vary)
My benchtop table saw is a $99 Delta and its still cutting anything I throw at it after over 10 years. Recently I have picked up some Ryobi because the price was right and so far they haven't disappointed me.

If I am broke and need something in a hurry to finish a specific project -
I've been known to grab whatever is on the sale table --you pay your dime you take your chance -- sometimes you get lucky.

If Santy Claus was to bring me one of those new $500+ Festool circular saws or one of those nice european table saws with the riving knife
-- I sure wouldn't return it .
But -- so far - I am happy with what I have.
