 Update: my first router table (to be)
Finally... got a call from home that my DW618PK has been delivered! Yea haaa!
Today I also went ahead to order the Hartville table, a 5/16" template guide (and lock nut) a blanked center disc and a vacuum attachment. Should arrive next week. My vacation will start Dec 17 .. will have 2 fun weeks to complete my first router table. Apparently I have work to do:
1. need to convert my eixsting 36" Hartville miter fence to a router fence (just need to mill out an roughly 4" x 2" hole).
2. Drill mouting holes on the plate (Bob: I spoke to them today, the hole of the blanked disk is 5/16", they suggest me and I bought the 5/16" bushing for centering the router.)
3. decide on and build the stand ... decision,decison ...
4. still need to buy some more mounting hardware for the fence.
Thanks for all your inout (pls keep them coming especially if you notice I any oversight on this "project"). I will post updae and surely questions in next few weeks.
