Thanks Bob.. tried that, didn't make a difference. Tried unistalling and reinstalling OE, didn't make a difference. Then, decided to do a google search for the error number it returned. Originally, it did say unknown error, then it returned an error number. This is the same problem here:Error number that I was experienceing. I dl'd the inbox as they suggested, OE recreates it upon bootup. Now, email dl's fine, I just can't delete anything!! <sigh> Back to the drawing board.
