It's hard to get a great deal at auctions, I have been to many and most of them are stuff you will see as junk or way over the price,, but that's just my 2 cents,,,,
not to talk about the time it takes getting to the item you want to bid on...
I would suggest you take a hard look at craigslist, it that way you can try the tool out and talk to the seller and ask why he or she is selling it...
