I humbly stand before you today; hat in hand, foot in mouth to let you all know that after all my gum flapping and bragging so gleefully at the start of this thread that I must now report a minor glitch in my prized find.

After purchasing new tires and while removing the wheels to install them I noticed the distinct sound of something metallic tumbling and bouncing it’s way to my shop floor. Thinking I had dropped a metallic spacer, I finished removing the wheel and then to my great disappointment found the source. A couple pieces of the wheel shaft hinge and sliding bracket (These work to tilt the wheel when making tracking adjustments and the upper wheel shaft passes thru here). I will be contacting the manufacturer tomorrow for replacement parts.

Never let it be said that I have never tasted crow. After all, my good taste in fine culture is only exceeded by my ability to belch in rapid succession.
