A simple jig that won't take longer to make than it would to drill the holes would be to mark a board with the desired increments. Drill the first hole with the jig attached to the fence, then align the first mark on the jig to the end of your board, making sure you don't move the board, and clamp the jig to the fence. Then slide the end of the board to the next mark and drill the next hole. Repeat as necessary.
