 thin wall pvc pipe problem
Hello
Need some help. I have many lenghts of 3/4" thin wall pvc that I need to slice a 1/2" slot down the middle of so that I can snap them over a 1/2" steel pipe. I have made a jig to hold the pvc and tried to use a router but all it did was chip and crack the pipe. Was it the speed of the router? Type of material, or perhaps the bit? Please help if you can.
