Question about template guides for the Freud FT 1700 VCE router. I have the guides sold by Harbor Freight, they seem great, but how does one attach the adapter that holds the collars. There should be a ring that fits around the adapter to hold in in place. The adapter has four screw holds but no way to fasten it to the base plate.

The one that said his Harbor Freight adapte just pops into place, well, that ain't so with this set up.
