Hi Joe

The UHMW can be nasty to route, it leaves strings unlike wood and can jam/break a bit in a heart beat..

UHMW stock
http://www.ptreeusa.com/uhmw_list.htm

The thick ones I get from MLCS, 1 1/2" thick

Replacement Backer Block
#9496............................................. .................SALE $11.95

Thick UHMW stock
off eBay sometimes..

The RWS jig would be easy to copy, it's the pin holes that hard to get right,,
It's setup for 1/2" and 3/4" stock only, that's why I made one that will do 1/4" stock to 1 1/2" wide stock...
If you want a snapshot of the holes let me know and I will post one..
