Default Hello Everyone!

Hello, i'm new here to the router forum, and i would just like to say hi to everybody.
This truly is an amazing source of information here!
My name is Ron and i am from New Hampshire, U.S.A.
I am basically new to woodworking, but i have taken an incredible interest it router work. I have three porter cable routers. A 9690LR, a 690LRVS and a 7539. I bought the 9690LR because i was in the middle of a project and my 690LRVS quit on me. It was my own fault i suppose. When i started it up, i inadvertently touched the work piece before it came to full speed. It has not started since. Any thoughts on the problem here would be highly appreciated.
I actually found this community because i wanted to build a router table. I think i'll build the 'ultimate table' some other time, but for now i am building a benchtop model for some window moldings. Lots of them! I am starting out with a sink cut-out, and i was surprised to see someone else in this forum has done the same already.

Where mine take's a different twist however is in the frame. I cannibalized an old piece of exercise equipment for that. It was an old 'Ab Works' by 'Nordic Track'. I soon discovered by accident that my design allowed the table to go from a horizontal table to a vertical table quite simply, so i worked from there.
I have it set up so i just pull a pin and fold it up to the vertical position where it locks into place at another work surface. The only drawback i see so far is the work height in the upright position means it must be set on a lower bench for a comfortable work height. Last of all, it has the ability to fold flat when not in use, and hung on the wall. I will post pictures of it when it is finished if anyone is interested. Its not pretty, but it evolved well with the materials at hand.
Total cost thus far is zero!

Ron
