vernon2647 is on a distinguished road

Howdy folks. My name is Vern, I am 60 years of age and have beenworking with wood as an art form and a love affair for over 40 years. I have a degree in Fine Arts and make sculptural containers and furniture and "things" that sometimes include silver and gold and semi-precious stones. I try to create art or at least beauty and love my work. I am a member and part owner of an art co-op/gallery/gift shop in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and also show my work in other galleries, mostly in the northwest. I hope I don't sound to full of myself...I am not used to this...I am new to computers and illiterate at it. I hope I can be of use others, but I am mainly concerned with learning from you all.

Right now I am designng and building a 2'x2'x4' cedar lined, walnut hope chest and need expert help. I want to make machine cut dovetailed corners
but cannot afford one of the better jigs that are big enough to do the job. Some years ago I saw plans for a very well made dovetail jig/machine, in a 15-20 page non-glossy woodworking periodical. Can anyone here help me to locate this, or furnish me with good and understandable plans? I will be very, very grateful for any help and advice, sincerely, Vern.
