Welcome to the forums gents ( I don't know you Christian names), all the hobby type pantographs that I have come across are not worth giving house room to they are so flimsy, perhaps in other parts of the world they have something better.
Have you not thought about hand routing your signs, I and quite a number of members have produced works of art by this method. Basically you design the sign in the computer, I used Corel Print House but most computers come with a suitable programme, I then print it out full size and with carbon paper beneath draw around the outline then follow the steps in my thread by clicking on this link. The skis are not necessary but do make it easy, other members make a large transparent base for the router.
