Ha,
Harry, you aren't far from the truth. Occasionally I do smoke 'em. Little chips of epoxy go flying. I support development of integrated chips for power supplies. A design comes back from a foundry and my job is to see what actually came out of the compiler. In one case every chip (I stopped at 5) died on power up above about half its intended power supply voltage.
Another time a test chip welded to the test board through its solder, ruining the test board. (It had to be soldered and sockets have too much resistance for accurate testing.
Part of my setup is a 55g drum that has a cyclone adapter. Very effective. But sooner or later, I have to put the accumulated dust and such into paper bags to dispose of it as the trash man doesn't like it when he tips over a trash can into the truck and a cloud of sawdust covers him. Very intolerant chap. The system cuts down of how often I have to clean the shop vac. It is also silent witness to just how good I am at generating sawdust. I think it needs another emptying. :-(
