HI meldgaard

" Anyone tried to wire their speedadjuster to the 'surface' of their table?"

I have not done that but it would be a easy job, just remove it from the router and pickup a plastic box from Radio Shack and mount it to the router table side...

I don't think I would hard wire it in to place I would use plugs, and maybe just order that part from Hitachi then you could unplug the one that's built in and just plug in the remote one..then you could still use the big router for the big hand router jobs,, but I'm sure you will kiss off any warr.from the fac. if you run into any errors doing that.

But Who knows you may just come up with a new device that others may want also..

But only almost since I still have to open the router table door and fumble my way in when I want to adjust the router speed. Anyone tried to wire their speedadjuster to the 'surface' of their table?
