Stu in Tokyo Japan is on a distinguished road

I have a Hitachi M8, which is about 10 years old, so no soft start and such, and I have a Hitachi M12, not a M12V, but the old M12. I bought it used for about $50, so I could not say no. I has been modified and put in my soon to be finished Router Table. I got a router controler thing to setting the speed of the router in the table. One of the things I like best about the Hitachi router is that with only a 1/4 turn the bits are tight, or loose, this is a nice feature when you are changing bits in the table.

I have a Router Raizer on the M12 in the table, seems to work well, and I made my own Router Raiser for the M8, it also seems to work well.

Cheers!
