Very Nice Del

May I ask what you use to seal the Mahogany with ?.
I have tried to make some projects with mahogany and I always come with a open grain look to them.
I have tried many sealers and I have seen Norms way but still come up with that same look "open grain" but it looks like you found the right one.
by the look of the top... nice job bud

Default Entry for Oak Park Contest

This case was made to commemorate my father's service in WWII. I made it out of oak.

Default Bailey's Bedroom Suit

The dresser, headboard, and mirror were made for my 7 year old daughter's bedroom. Everything is made of hard maple including the inlays that were dyed. Unfortunately I took the picture of the dresser before I attached the drawer pulls.

Default The last entry.....I promise

Here is a couple of shots of the TV stand complete with end glass shelves for the wife's pretties. Built of red oak & stained with Benjamine Moore "smoked ebony". Castors were installed to facilitate moving the unit when necessary.
Thanks for looking.

Default Mahogany Salad Bowl Set

Here is a set of mahogany salad bowls including the main bowl I made. These will be for our boy and his wife for their Christmas present. The small bowls are around 8" across and 1 1/2" deep. The main bowl is 13" across and 5" deep. They are finished with General Finishes Seal-A-Cell and Arm-R-Seal.
