Default A quick little carving....

Here is a quick little carving I did last Sunday before I left for business. I painted it yesterday with artists oil paints and sealed it with satin lacquer. I used some of my wifes family for a model Woah...better run with that.

Nice Corey, but you had better not tell anyone that the model was your MIL!!!!!!!!!! Running wont be good enough.

Nice going Corey:
Sure wish I could carve. All my attempts turn into whittle chips on the floor, guess I needs a larger log to start with so I have enough remaining after rough-out for the figure.
Take care

Ha ha....thanks guys. It was fun. Doyle if you are interested in carving and whittling... I suggest you look at the following videos. While I haven't done to many of his projects, watching him basically taught me to carve... the basic cuts etc. He is a great guy as well.

That is really cute challagan, how tall is it and did you use one of those hobby CNC machines?

Thanks Electron! No hobby CNC, just carved by hand with a knife and a v-tool.
