If the answers are going to be that i use Internet Explorer then i will not use it.

I like the ideal of being able to make everything from one list.

works fine with my firefox. It is a PDF and shouldn't need IE to open.

Default PDF calculator.

I'm using Full Acrobat 6.0 so I'm not a candidate to download the 7.0 or later reader to take advantage of all new features. (I think I'll keep my capability to create/modify PDF files intact, as you use full Acrobat instead of reader when both have been installed.)
The link to the project plans did not launch to the right site, it went to http://www.routerworkshop.com/index.html instead of http://www.routerworkshop.com/S100.html#14 (I used copy link location and pasted it into a browser window.)
The Audio played ok and the calculator seemed to function ok.
Overall it looks like it may be a valuable addition.

What version of acrobat reader are you using. This will determine if you can open and use. You must use at least 5.0 or better with 6.0 or 7.0.

6.0 should work fine and you were able to use all of the present features.

Default Great concept

You've made some fine use of new Acrobat technology, though it looks like an upgrade to version 7 is in order.

As for functionality, haven't you forgotten an important criteria? Specifically the design of the joints in the box?

From what I can see this is fine for a finger joints, but I don't think the measures would be correct for a half-lapped joint, hidden dovetails or some other methods. Maybe the next step is to add a choice list of joint type that would allow for this?

...Doug

Each of the projects will have all drawings required to build plus include the dynamic calculator to customize that specific project. This project is using the rabbet joint and construction details from plan 103 magic boxes.

Thoughtful plan to add choice of joinery for specific projects.
