Thats right, you can start your own contest on RouterForums.com, for whatever prize you want to offer and whatever type of contest you want to hold. We will host your contest for you and you will include your contest link in our monthly newsletter if your contest submission is approved by RouterForums.com administration. How do I setup my own contest?
Simple. Send an email through our contact form with the subject "Start my own contest" and in the message box explain the details of your contest idea in full detail. Once we review your submission we will either approve it or decline in. If your submission is approved, we will permit you to setup a thread in the contest forum with the details of your contest.
EXAMPLE CONTEST SUBMISSION:
Title: Mark's Contest
Type: Project Submit
Duration: 30 days ( one month )
Prize(s): Router Bit
Description: Submit your projects and the best one will in a free router bit!!
Further Details: This is a contest for my website and I would like to be included in the monthly RouterForums.com newsletter.
Why would I want to setup my own contest?
Well, you can hold a contest for your website or in order to promote it and improve sales. If you are a bit company or a retail store, setup a contest to promote your tools and products on one of the greatest woodworking forums on the web, RouterForums.com. Also, it's FREE!!
Can I setup a private contest?
Yes. If you want a contest to be topic, user or "x" specific, please tell us in your contest submission. If a user is posting in your contest and isn't suppose to we'll moderate it in order to keep your contest private and specific to what you want.
How do I promote my contest?
Post around the forum about it, also, by request, we can include a link to your contest in our monthly newsletter where you can get upto 10,000+ impressions!!! You can also tell your contest information to non-RouterForum.com users and other friends.
What kind of prizes can I offer?
What ever you want to, you specify the prizes and you specify the entry (fee if applicable).
What types of contests cant I setup?
What ever you perfer. You decided the fashion of the contest.
