Hi Bob Other then the usual pain i try to stay busy to forget about it. The birds bought me a 52" big screen television not too long ago. My son takes care of the site and he,s going to be updating it soon. His roofing business keeps him really busy. Your Guess is pretty darn close ![]()

Well I got it done. Heres the router table I'd like to enter. I just posted an overdone discription and more pics in the table mounted routing section.

Bob, I am near completion of a project which has about 50 photographs which show every aspect of the making which is probably about 90% made by routing. It shows plunge and table procedures, template design and laminating, correcting errors etc.The idea was to present it as a project in the hope that others will feel inclined to have a go.Is this too many shots for submission to the competition?
__________________ Harry The best advice that I can give a newcomer to routing is, learn to use the router mounted, this can be as simple as a board held in a vice, with the router firmly attached and a simple fence held with clamps, and when he/she feels competant and confident in it's use and is familiar with all aspects of safety, THEN, and only then proceed to learn how to use the router hand held. This is MY opinion, and may or may not coincide with that of the forum management, but is based on a lifetime of woodworking. http://members.dodo.com.au/~sharry02/

Harry, I don't think there is such a thing as "too many" when it comes to pictures and woodworking Please post them so we can all enjoy and learn from them.

Thanks Bob, it will probably be at least a week as it is cold and wet at the moment, not conducive for Danish oil to harden and I have four coats to go and on top of that the reverse cycle air conditioner has broken down once again so I can't bring it into the house to dry.
