Wow, that is a really interesting result. A spiral like that would make a really interesting staircase. Cut in half lengthwise, what a neat decorative element. Someone really thought that one through.

Thanks for posting, Dominik, This is a good example of what can be done on limited resources. Just think what this fellow could do with the shops and tools we have here.
