| Registered User Jr. Member | I hope not. 1/4 inch shanks are weak enough, let alone after extending them another couple of inches. Try to use only 1/2 inch bits unless you have no other choice. |

| Registered User Forum Geek | rwy: Jigboy is right. I don't know of any extensions for a 1/4" bit. But I would 'nt use one if I had.. It would be dangerous. If at all posible I buy and use 1/2" bits. I use the 1/4" for light duty. Hope this helps.. Woodnut65 |
