| Registered User New Member | Where does a person find a supplier to buy thier glass to install in thier cabinets and furniture. I have some plans that call for glass in the doors of some cabinets and I cannot find any suppliers on the net other then stained glass. Where do I go to get my glass for the doors? Thanks. |

| Retired Moderator Forum Geek | Hello hammernail, I am not sure where you live. But you should be able to find a glass store, Arts and Crafts Store, like Michaels or Hobby Lobby if you live here in the states. There are some hardware stores that cut and sale glass.

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | If you want glass I would not try ordering it unless you really have to. Most hardware stores have glass and will cut it for you but if you want some special cuts or some glass that is not just window glass then go to a glass store. Yes in the yellow pages they will have glass stores listed and we seem to have a good selection of them. When my kids were in soccer some years back we lost a couple of thermopanes and I got custom replacement ones for really good prices. I have had custom mirrors cut and edges polished and again the prices have always been good. Ed |

If you are going to use plain old glass, nothing fancy, Home Depot and Lowe's both carry glass. They will cut what you need. One thing tho, make sure of your dimensions (internal) before you get glass cut. Good shopping. Dave the "Doctor"
