| Registered User Member |  Router Jointing Here's another newbie question. I have been using a table mounted router to do some jointing. The outfeed part of the fence is 1/16" proud of the infeed. I have been jointing both edges of the boards. The problem is that I sometimes wind up with two edges that are not parallel. Is there some way to minimize or eliminate this? Drick |

| The Router Guys Forum King  | Joint just one edge then use table saw to rip the edges parellel 1/16" larger than you want. Last operation is to joint the ripped edge smooth and remove the 1/16".
