Does anyone out there own the Porter Cable Router 894PK??? I have that router in my sights and was wondering if anyone could add some pros or cons about it or any insight that i may need before making the final decision.

Hello Shawn,

If you have never picked the PC up in your hands then go some where that carries it in your area and see how it feels before purchasing. I went to Lowe's, HD and Sears and picked up every router they had to see how they felt in my hands and ended up with the Bosch because of the way it felt in my hands. Just a Suggestion because if it deos not feel right in your hands you will hate it from the beginning. That was the biggest factor for me in purchasing it was the way it felt in my hands not the brand. HTH

Would have to agree with GoonMan. The feel of the Bosch was more comfortable in my opinion for freehand. Either would be super for table mounting. So far have not been disappointed. The PC is a fine router but you have to go with what feels right. Good luck with your decision.
