| Router King Supreme Forum King | What do you guys/gals consider a throw away bit cost wise versus getting the bit sharpened. Figuring in mailing costs.

| Registered User Dedicated Member | If the cost of shipping and sharpening is over 50% of the cost of replacing it, I buy another one. New bit, fresh carbide and I've also got the old one just-in-case. That's my 2 cents. |

| Registered User Forum Fanatic | The folks that make Forrest saw blades also sharpen router bits. Although I have not tried their service yet, I have been told whatever they sharpen comes back significantly better than new. They resharpen any brand of saw blade or router bit. From the recomendations of others I am ordering one of their saw blades this week. Check out their web site at www.stores.yahoo.com/forrestman |
