| Registered User Dedicated Member | Hey guys, ya'll helped me out quiet a few times since I've been on the forum, hopefully ya'll can give me some more good advice . I've got the Triton 2 1/4 HP and have been using it in my router table with the spring out of it -I've been learning quiet a bit with it in the table but I've never used it as handheld routing. My question is... can someone explain to me how and when to use bushings and do you use a template when using bushings?? If ya'll could give me some good advice I'd appreciate it !Thanks, Wil141

| Marine Engineer Forum King | Template Tom is the resident guide bushing expert, and he has a great little write up at http://www.routerforums.com/guide-bu...te-guides.html Templates can be used with or without bushings, just decide before you make the template. I have some templates that I use with pattern bits (bits that have bearings on the top), and others that I use with straight or spiral bits and a template guide. Read Tom's write-up, and then let us know what other questions we can address.
