Hi Tim

Use it for hand router jobs,,,

Most 2 TON Chinese routers lie about the HP... if it's taged at 1HP it's more like 3/4HP...if that... you want a 2HP min. for your table and it's best to pop in a 3 1/4HP with a VS control and maybe a crank, so you can change the bits form the top side of the table..

I have two of the Craftsman combo sets and they are great for the router table you can get the NEW set for about 100.oo bucks...and that is hard to beat..

The one I recommend is this one ▼

Hi Mike

Same place and about the same time as the 1st one,, if you read the review post you will see the two order numbers I posted from Sears

I got one and I liked it so much I got one more, I was going to give one to my son for a Xmax but I said no I'm going to keep it because I like it,, I got him one for 50.oo bucks and it's combo also...off Amazon....but I also like that one, so he maybe SOL this year when it's comes to routers, he has 3 of my old routers now and a older router table as well

The one I got for my son is below ▼
