Default Face plate and springs removed

I purchased Freud FT3000VCE 3 1/4 HP Router. I wonder if Bob & Ridk make a face plate to fit this unit and use thier table. I also would like instructions on taking out the springs in this router

Hi wbelknap

"Freud " Sorry to say they don't as far as I know, but you can get one and drill it out for your Freud..
You may also want to get a setup guide insert ,plus the brass line up pin.

As for removing the springs you don't need to and you may not want to because you can do all it from the top side of the table top...

If you don't remove the springs you can stll use the router with the big base on it for your plunge router needs...when you need the big 3 1/4 HP for big jobs..

I do recommend the base plate with the 3 1/8" hole in it, you can make your own ring insert part. or buy one of each.. 1 1/2" and the 3 1/8 hole.

You may also want to take a hard look at the base plate below, you will also need to drill it for your Freud but it's a bit cheaper and it's 3/8" thick.
