| Registered User | I have a piece of 3/4" plywood. I would like to make it square, in order to do this I might have to take off anywhere from 1/8-1/4" of the piece which bit should I use? John |

| Registered User Supreme Forum King | I'd use a table saw.

| Forum Contributer Supreme Forum King | Hi John I would use the band saw because it's plywood...most come with a miter gage.. But you didn't say how big it is.. If it's big then the table saw with a sled and a New cross cut blade..(80 teeth or more) === Quote:

If you intend on using a router table as a jointer, then a compression bit should be used for plywood, if I remember correctly.
