Hi emmick12

I think you can get a box at one of the Many UPS centers and have them hold it for pickup ...

UPS just needs a address to ship it to,,let your fingers do the walking thing..with a phone call or two..

Hi Emmick12:

I am working in the shipping/receiving/warehouse department of a Canadian distribution centre for an American firm these days. We have a couple of customers who ask that their orders be held somewhere where they can pick the orders up.

We ship via Purolator usually. For these customers, we ask Purolator to "hold at Purolator depot for pickup." (This is service they provide.) When the order arrives at the depot, Purolator notifies the customer, who then goes in to pick up his/her order.

Since Purolator does this service, one should expect other shipping firms do the same.

Emmick, You are welcome to have your router sent to my home in Hazel Park, MI. (Next door to Detroit) You are also welcome to join us when we have a "Sawdust Saturday" here. Our local members have a good time sharing ideas and working on projects. Ask BrianS for the best route into Detroit since at times the tunnel is faster than the bridge. Brian drives this on a regular basis. PM me for the address.
