Default Raised panels in MDF

I have some 3/4" MDF cabinet doors and drawer fronts on a workshop cabinet and am contemplating dressing them up a little with a raised panel look before I paint them.

Is this a doable operation and what are the procedures and pitfalls?

Hi Larry

Yes very doable operation....almost no pitfalls just takes a bit more sanding than the norm....MDF is open in a way when you route it ( fuzzy )

Larry, don't forget a dust collection system when making the raised panels. MDF dust is murder on your lungs.
