I want to join a 1/2" X 1/2" board to another 3/4" board. the 1/2" will be 90 degrees to the 3/4" board and I want the joint to be dove-tailed. Any suggestions on how to do such a small dovetail?

thanks

They do make a 1/4" 7 deg. dovetail bits, it would be tricky but I don't see why not.
You will need to use a 1/4" template and then cut the block to size...
