Hello from new forum member

Just saying hi - about to purchase my first router after doing a bunch of research here and elsewhere. Going with the Bosch 1617epspk combo and am about to embark on building my own table.

I'm a router noob, have only ever used one once but am starting to plan out several woodworking projects so I'm sure I'll be on here more and more. Look forward to the plethora of information here, thanks to everyone for your hard work in helping us all learn.

Welcome, @rodnre - the Bosch 1617 will hold you in good stead with quite a few members on this forum. Good luck on building the table - you will be able to post photos from your own computer without needing 10 posts, so please share the build with us.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum who are always willing to answer questions and help you along.

When you get a chance, update your profile with a first name - makes it more personal. As well a general location and a list of your available tools will make any advice you receive more specific to you.

Stay tuned, @Stick486 and @DesertRatTom will be along shortly to provide you with enough reading material to keep you busy for a while.

Either lead, follow, or get out of the way.

No seriously, I hate having to do trial and error dado setups on the TS. What a p.i.t.a.
I guess a guy could spend a day setting up, measuring, and logging the results so he (me) wouldn't need to do it again next time...
