Default Thinking about making my own V drum sander...

Anyone have luck making one?
I bought a treadmill roller and it spins on it's own axle which will make it impossible to put a pully on it that will fit under the table (Like the Vdrum).
I've seen many plans and pics from people on the net for drum/thickness sander but few that are like the V drum (Drum under the table).

Any tips etc.?

Welcome Eric to the forum. Interesting, did not know what one of those things was called. Thanks for the information. No way to freeze the roller to the axle and put some kind of V pulley on the axle, just wondered.
